Vacuum Casting

Vacuum casting sits exactly in the gap: real material feel and near-mould tolerances, with a two-week cycle and no tooling commitment.

Vacuum casting sits exactly in the gap: real material feel and near-mould tolerances, with a two-week cycle and no tooling commitment.

We machine a master from your model, suspend it inside a silicone mould and cure it under vacuum so the rubber takes every surface detail without trapped air. Each silicone mould then yields 25 to 50 castings before it is retired, which is usually enough for a design-freeze round, a field pilot and a trade show.

Polyurethane resins are available in ABS-like, PP-like, PC-like, transparent and high-temperature grades, with glass or mineral filling where stiffness matters. Inserts, overmoulded soft-touch sections and multi-part bonded assemblies are all routine.

Frequently asked

Casting gives isotropic, mould-plastic-like mechanical properties and a cleaner cosmetic surface than most prints, at the cost of a two-week setup.
Yes — send a master sample or a Pantone/RAL reference and we will provide an approved colour card before the full pour.
