Robotics & Automation

Actuator housings, joint components, grippers and machine frames built for repeat duty.

Robots fail at the interfaces. We spend most of our engineering time on stiff, well-datumed assemblies rather than on individual pretty parts.

Machined aluminium and steel for harmonic-drive housings, motor bells, arm links and end-effectors; printed and cast light structures for mobile platforms; welded frames for AMR chassis and cell guarding.

Because a robot assembly is datuminated through bearing seats, we machine those seats and the mating faces in one set-up, and we measure concentricity on the fixture, not on the bench.

Typical components we build

Joint & actuator housings

Gripper fingers and tool plates

Arm links and brackets

Motor mounts and encoders covers

AMR chassis frames

End-of-arm tooling

Representative work for the Robotics & Automation sector.

How we support Robotics & Automation programmes

  • ✓Bearing-seat concentricity to 0.01 mm in one set-up
  • ✓Weight-optimised 5-axis and printed structures
  • ✓Balanced rotating assemblies
  • ✓Cable management and sensor mount integration

Lead times

Machined prototypes from 3 days; tooling 15–35 working days; production runs scheduled to your build calendar.

Documentation

Dimensional reports, material certificates and revision-controlled records with every delivery.
